The company DIMITRINO & CO was founded in 1886 at Cairo by Dimitrios Dimitriou and Ioannis Emmanuelidis and got closed in 1959. In 1904 a branch got opened at Berlin (Germany). At Germany some brands got continued by EILEBRECHT, later SONNTAG and again later by FAIRMORN. In the 1970's DIMITRINO cigarettes were also produced by GEORGOPULO at New York.

Today DIMITRINO is just a brand, but see as well other original DIMITRINO brands like Botschafter, Famosa and Shepheard's Hotel
