Brand got introduced in 1948 by Hungarian Tobacco Monopoly and discontinued in 2013.

LAJOS KOSSUTH (1802-1894) was a Hungarian lawyer, politician and pioneer for an independent Hungary. His major success was that in 1848 Hungary became temporary almost independent from the Austrian empire. In 1849 he had to take refuge and in 1859 he set up a Hungarian legion at Italy to fight against Austria. As a result Hungary became in 1867 an equal partner of the Austrian empire - the Austrian empire changed it's name to Austro-Hungarian double monarchy. Kossuth called it a treason of the revolution and continued his fight unsuccessful until his death at the Italian exile.
