Brand references to the battle of Shipka during the Russo-Turkish War in 1877/1878 which was the first and decisive victory for the Russian and Bulgarian troops on their way to free Bulgaria from the 500 years lasting Turkish rule. The tower shown on the packs is the Shipka Monument of Freedom built on top of the Shipka pass to remind the victory and to honour the 5500 Russians which lost their life during the battle.
